Debates on the history of the first deportation from Hungary

In the summer of 1941 about 20 thousand ‘alien’ Jews were deported to Galicia, and to Ukraine, territories which were under the control of the Hungarian and German army. Most of them became the victims of the ‘Holocaust by bullets’. Recently a heated debate unfolded among Hungarian historians on who were deported, and on who were responsible for the fate of the deported Jews.  The presentation will not only tell the major statements of the debate, but will also summarize the results of the latest researches in the field.

A kiszállítottak túlnyomó része tömeggyilkosságok áldozata lett. Előadásomban nemcsak a vitáról, hanem a témakörben végzett kutatásaimról is beszélek.
